Hnaskut to Barandi Nalla Trek

Day 01 :
Paris – Delhi : upon Arrival Delhi, you will be met at the international airport and Transferred to your Hotel. {B}

Day 02 :
Delhi/ Leh {B+L+D} :Transfer to the Delhi domestic airport for your flight to leh, The capital of ladakh and situated among the hills on the side of the Indus valley. Upon arrival, you will be met by your guide and transfer to your hotel to begin your adaptation to high altitude. You will have an afternoon presentation with your guide.

Day 03 :
Leh – Sight seeing : This day is meant to Provide an opportunity to get a feel of the place. Guests will be driven to the leh Palace,which houses old relics that belong to the sixteenth century ruler of ladakh. Day 04 :
Leh- Day : Leh-full day sightseeing ; (Shey palace, Thiksey Monastery, Hemis Monastery)

Shey Palace was the old capital and the home of the kings of Ladakh before the new capital become established in leh the palace site in a strategic position on a spur jutting out the Indus valley. the main temple contains a large Buddha statue sculpted by Nepalese craftsmen.

Thiksey, this large Gompa is an impressive sight, situated on top of a craggy hill while the rest of the complex sprawls down beneath it. It was founded in the 15th century by gelukpa monks. Stok, this has been royal palace since the king was dethroned by the dogras and is now the home of the last king’s widow,

Hemis Monastery then proceeding towards the famous Gompa in this area, around 35 km far from Leh . This Gompa was founded in the 17th century and is sometime called Changsangling, the solitary palace of the compassionate ones; it Belong to the Kagyu pa sect inside the monastery you see the impressive image of Guru Padma sambhava which is in a temple behind the dukhang. Day 05 :
Leh : Morning after the break fast visit Full day visit Ladakh Festival, overnight Hotel {B+L+D}

Day 06 : 
Drive from Leh – Haniskut 145 km. 5/6 hours {B+L+D} : Driving along the srinagar to leh National high way the route traces its way past the villages of Nimu, Khaltsi, Lamayuru, Hanskut village& road keep going future down to Kargil srinagar. the second largest urban center of Ladakh and lies on the line of control between India and Pakistan. We halt here for the night.

Day 05 :
Trek Hinaskut to Kanji Village{ 4/5 hrs 3800mt }{B+L+D} : Morning after Breakfast walk toward along valley and small bank river and beautiful gorge. After noon visit Local village o/n camp

Day 06 : 
Trek Kanji village – Kanji la base{ 5/6 hrs 4300mt} : This day is quite easy walk along a river bank till to sumdo., turn to right side of valley it is a easy ascends towards to base of Kanji la, This day good chance to see yak and wild animals o/n camp.

Day 07 : 
Trek Kanji base – via Kanji la pass – Sumdo 5150m. 7/8 hrs : Morning after the break fast walk along the valley turn to lift side. It is quite steep walk like 300mtrs.later it is a easy ascends towards Knaji la pass from the pass very beautiful view for Nun peak, Kun Peak. Other Range of great Himalaya. from pass decent down to sumdo o/n camp.

Day 08 :
Trek Sumdo – via pikdongla pass (5020mts) : Dipling village.7/8 hrs Morning after the b/fast crossing the river walk right side of valley to three hours. From their turn to Bipling valley .from pass long walk down till Dipling village.just before village nice camp side near stream river. o/n camp

Day 09 :
Trek Dipling villages to Somdo. 7/8 hrs : Morning after b/fast Explore the villages & Monastery, gonpa .this village very isolated place from village walk one hours. later many river crossing till to lingshed sumdo.level of water during September small. o/n camp.

Day 10 :
Trek Sumdo – via marpola 4750mt- lingshed 6/7 hrs : This day walk along the valley till gradual up to pass nice stream river. Good chance to see many wild animals .like blue sheep. Ibex. barrel, etc.o/n camp.

Day 11 :
Trek Lingshed – Hanuma la Base walking hour 4/5 hrs : Morning after the b/fast visit lingshed gonpa .it is very famous for panting monastery . Explore villages and school. Walk to Hnumala base o/n camp.

Day 12 :
Trek Hanumala base – via Hanumala pass 4845mtrs, Zangchen.7/8 hrs : This day quite steep walk to pass. It is easy to get reach two hrs. from the pass go down to the valley and stream river ruining down nice Calare landscape, just before camp nice view of different gorge as well Calare ,o/n camp

Day 13 :
Trek Zangchen – via pefila pass 3900 mtrs Hanamil 5/6 hrs : morning quite ascent steep 1 ½ hrs to the pass walk to the pass go down to towards to Hanamil from pass just short walk see a zanskar river. It is very famous for winter ice trek. O/n Hanamil it is first villages of zanskar camp 4/5 hrs

Day 14 :
Trek Hanamil- Zangla village. 6/7 hrs : Today easy walk along zanskar river on the way visit Pidmo villages.zangla is known Royal palace still his family living in palace. visit palace O/n camp 5/6 hrs

Day 15 :
Trek zangla to Tongday gonpa. 4/5 hrs : Morning after the breakfast easy walk to tongday on the visit many nice small villages tsezar village. Shelingket villages. Over night camp gonpa.

Day 15 :
Thongde - Thongde-la - habitable cave , 7 1/2 hrs. : From the village of Tongday ( 3450 m) , go up to the gompa (20 min.),then follow steady path as far as the pastures of thongde (2hrs).Up a winding path for the last 200 mts. to the Thongde-la (5150m , 4 1/2 hrs). Go down for about 2 1/2 hrs. as far the junction with the first large valley (Forest). A further 1 1/2 hrs and you see a habitat cave on the left bank ( 3hrs from the pass ) after crossing several rivers.

Day 16 :
Habitable cave - jangchik, 6/7 hrs. : From the camp , walk along the main stream as far as the junction with a large valley coming from the north -west ( 3hrs , many rivers to cross) . You arrive at a low temperature wall which delimats the wooded area for the villages of THongde and Shade. The path leaves the floor of the valley and goes up to the right slope.Pass a small plateau ( spring , wood , 4hrs ).

Continue along the slope , then go down to a gorge entering at right angles , turn back up onto the slope you arrive at right angles , turn back up onto the slope you arrive at a hut and a field.over night camp.

Day 17 :
Jangchik – Shade – Tankthank gonpa.5/6 hrs : Here the vlley widens (2 1/2 hrs).Go to the valley floor. The valley narrows . Pass a curve and there find a rope bridge across the river.Walk along the left bank as far as a gorge entering at right angles.A wooden bridge and three chortens mark the entrance of this gorge which leads to the village of Shade 30 30 minutes away.

Day 18 :
Tankthank - Phuktal , 6-7 hrs : From the village go to the three chortens and follow the main valley. Half an hour after the three chortens and follow the main valley. Half an hour after the three chortens , the valley widens and you see the small Tantak monastery, two houses on a hill.A monk in Phuktal is responsible for its maintenance. From Tantak go down and ford the river just before it narrows .

From there , the track rises and stays on the slope as far as Phuktal. At times , track is precarious and very elevated as far as the junction with the Tsarap ( from the junction , possible to use this trail towards Yarshun , Mashun , Takh , the Baralacha-la , Darsha).Walk along the Tsarap (right bank) for about hour as far as a large cave on the right , 100m above the path (water, wood).Cross a small pass on a ridge(15min.), then go back down towards the river. Follow the path which is well marked but at times precarious until the Phuktal monastery which you reach from above(4-5hrs from the cave).

Day 19 :
Trek Phukthal gonpa – Thanthak, 6/7 hrs : Morning after the breakfast walk some way back to thanthak overnight camp

Day 23 :
Trek Thanthak- via Nyalo kuntse la 4830mtrs via Gothurstatar la 4820mtrs, Hormotse : This day easy ascending walk go up to the first pass. From another pass very easy to reach second pass in between nice lake junction of another valley .from pass go down towards right side always down till to camp. from other side of the river bank shun village. t is nice for camping place near small gonpa.

Day 24 :
Trek Homotse – Sathak village.5/6 hrs : This day we cross one river which called Tijeep river. The source of water coming from Tibet border Over night camp.

Day 25 :
Trek Satak villages to Tsokmik easy walk.6/7 hrs : Morning after the breakfast may up and down dusty trail and after few hours. there is another trek route valley is joining. Which going to Hemis. we walk some valley Brandy Nalla. Over night camp

Day 26 :
Drandy Nalla to Manali. Drive to Manali 6/7 hrs : Over night Hotel

Day 27 :
Manali morning visit Temple explore the Local Market shopping Overnight Hotel.

Day 28 :
Manali – chandigarh : Morning drive to chandigarh 7 hrs by taxi.over night Hotel

Day 29 :
Chandigarh - Delhi : early morning Train to Delhi. 3 hrs. after noon visit old Delhi.& New Delhi. Evening transfer to International Airport.

Option second

Day 26 :
: Brandy Nalla to leh. Morning drive to leh. 7/8 hrs.

Day 27 :
: Leh – Delhi Morning fly to delhi. Evening Transfer to International.
