Other considerations:

Travel to any part of the Himalayas deserves a little more respect than many other destinations because the whole region lies over 2600 meters (8500 ft). People in good health should not get alarmed by this but if you have a medical condition such as high blood pressure, heart or lung disease, you must take the advise of a doctor who has experience with the effects of altitude. We do not take heart or lung patients, or pregnant mothers on this expedition.

Any kind of exercise which gets you fitter before this trip is advisable, as it will enable you to enjoy the region more, even though the rafting not of a very strenuous nature.

Motorbike Safari: Manali to Ladakh

Day 01 :
DELHI – MANALI Pickup from the airport and drive to Manali by tempo traveler. The drive from Delhi to Manali is almost a full day drive and you can expect to reach Manali in the evening. Check in at the hotel.

Day 02 :
MANALI (EXCURSION TO HADIMBA AND VASHIST) We will test ride the bikes to get familiar with the machines. Visit the 16th century Hadimba Temple and ride around. Maintenance and servicing will be carried at the end if it.

Day 03 :
MANALI – TANDI (115 KMS / 05 HOURS APPROX) Today we start our journey to Leh stopping at Tandi for a night crossing the Rohtang Pass (3978 m) and reaching Keylong (3350 m). Upon arrival in Keylong we check in at our tented campsite for an overnight stay.

Day 04 :
TANDI – SARCHU (120 KMS / 05 HOURS APPROX) Today we start from Tandi to reach Sarchu crossing Keylong (3350 m), Baralacha Pass (4890m) with overnight stopover at Sarchu (4253 m), border of the states of Himachal Pradesh (Lahaul) and Jammu & Kashmir (Ladakh).  Upon arrival in Sarchu we check in at our tented campsite for an overnight stay.

Day 05 :
SARCHU - LEH (251 KMS / 10 HOURS APPROX) Leave for Leh by early morning, through Nakeela and Lachangla Pass 16,617 ft. Lunch at Pang. After Lunch drive to Leh passing through Skyangchu Thang (Biggest and Highest Plateau on Earth on Stretch of 42 Kms), Tanglang La Pass 17,585ft and Indus Valley. Upon arrival in Leh you’ll met by our representative and check in at our Hotel.

Day 06 : 
IN LEHEnjoy riding in Leh. Visit Shanti Stupa and nearby places around Leh.

Day 07 :
LEH – NUBRA (120 KMS / 05 HRS) After an early breakfast we ride to Nubra valley through Khardungla Pass (the highest motorable road in the world) at 18,390 ft, around 39 kms from Leh. Nubra Valley is popularly known as Ldorma or the valley of flowers. It is situated to the North of Ladakh between the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas.

Day 08 :
IN NUBRAuFull day excursion to Diskit monastery, Hunder sand dunes and later ride back to the camp

Day 09 :
NUBRA - LEHAfter your breakfast at the camp ride back to Leh. Evening rest and relax or take a walk to the local market

Day 10 :
LEH - PANGONG LAKE (145 KMS / 06 HOURS APPROX) After an early breakfast we leave for Pangong Lake through Changla pass 5486 Mtrs. Pangong Lake, situated at 14,000 feet (4,267 m). A long narrow basin of inland drainage, hardly six to seven kilometer at its widest point and over 130km long, it is bisected by the international border between India and China. Enjoy the landscape in the back drop of the Lake. One rarely feels so close to nature and environment and the scenery is unforgettable.

Day 11 :
PANGONG LAKE TO LEH (06 HOURS APPROX) After breakfast, we drive back to Leh enroute visiting Thiksey monastery an impressive complex rising tier upon tier on a hill above the village & Shey, the ancient capital of Ladakh.  Drive further to Leh and check in at our hotel for overnight stay.

Day 12 :
DEPART LEH Tour concludes. Ladakh Safari thank you for your patronage and ensure a punctual transfer to Domestic Airport to catch the flight for your onward Destination

PANGONG LAKE TO LEH (06 HOURS APPROX)
